The mission of the Fanny Allen Corporation is to continue the mission of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph by supporting non-profit organizations that reflect the compassion of Christ in their service to people who are sick and poor. The Board of Directors are interested in funding nonprofit organizations whose projects target enhanced quality of life for the economically disadvantaged, improved health of families, children and/or the elderly through direct services, and the homeless. We do not make capital or multi-year grants. Targeted geographic areas for service will be Chittenden County specifically, and Vermont generally. The Board of Directors also seeks opportunities which would leverage Fanny Allen funds to assist in projects which encourage collaboration between multiple nonprofit organizations with similar goals and objectives.

All applicants must have proof of nonprofit tax-exempt status. Applicant’s services must be congruent with the mission of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph, reflecting the compassion of Christ in service to the sick and poor, and adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services when applicable.
